WINEHOUSE CANCELS TOUR AFTER CONCERT SHAMBLES.
Amy Winehouse has cancelled the remainder of her European tour after a less than fantastic performance in which she ‘showed up an hour late, stumbled around the stage, clashed with her bandmates, slurred her words while attempting to sing her hits and tossed a shoe out into the audience’, according to Rolling Stone.
The British diva has been in rehab in London and has had a long battle with drink and drugs, although claimed last October that she has been clean for three years.
She was jeered and booed and appeared to struggle to keep her balance at the comeback gig in Belgrade, during which the 20,000 paying customers did the majority of the singing.
The tour has been rescheduled although a spokesperson has said she will be given ‘as long as it takes’.

June 12th, 2011 - A little boy holding an anti NATO protest sign is being photographed by a serbian journalist. Some hundred people attended a protest rally organised by the oppositional DSS (Democratic Party of Serbia). Belgrade is hosting a strategic military conference of NATO and Partnership For Peace countries.
In 1999 during the Kosovo crisis, NATO bombed Serbia for 78 days.

8 osoba je uhapšeno na ju?erašnjem anti-nato protestu preko puta sava-centra u beogradu, dana prije po?etka održavanja nato samita. “neprijavljeni” skup od pedesetak ljudi policija je pokušala potisnuti sa ulice, i u jednom momentu gurnula nekoliko ljudi niz jednu padinu, (video ispod). neki od uhapšenih su pružali otpor pa je policija koristila neke podle metode kao šutiranje nogama kako bi ih oborili na zemlju. na parkingu iza sava-centra u pripravnosti je bilo nekoliko desetina pripadnika žandarmerije i raznih “specijalnih” jedinica policije, ve? u prepoznatljivim sivim nato uniformama (pred mrak su se provozali okolo u svojim hamerima, umalo izazivaju?i sudar gdje god se pojave ne žele?i propustiti vozila sa pravom prvenstva.
na protestu je bilo ljudi raznih profila, uglavnom mladi politi?ki angažovani ljudi u nekom smislu, a bilo je ?ak i ljudi sa nekim staljinisti?kim ili sli?nim bolesni?kim obilježjima. dalo se primijetiti dosta policije u civilu kao i grupica nacista koja se muvala u blizini…
ispred samog ulaza u sava-centar nije bilo mogu?e zadržavanje, a policija je selektivno maltretirala prolaznike…

Nagorno-Karabakh agreement close
Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian has said that Armenia and Azerbaijan are making progress towards an agreement over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh. Talks were held with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov ahead of a summit in Kazan on the 25th June. Any eventual agreement would have to be approved by the region’s largely Armenian population.
Serbia halts talks with Kosovo
Serbia had delayed a fifth round of its ongoing talks with Kosovo, suggesting it needs more time to consider its current position, although Edita Tahiri, who is leading the Kosovan negotiation team, believes they are stalling on agreements over key issues like energy and telecommunications.
Another Muslim death in Dagestan
Ashurlav Kurbanov, an moderate Muslim in the Russian region of Dagestan, has been killed by an unknown assassin, just days after the death of imam Maksud Sadikov, who had sought non-violence, as well as a Russian translation of the Quran.. The murders have been blamed on Islamist extremists, with increasing concerns for the safety of moderates in the region.
