So, here it is, my bike route. In Muncie, IN they have a trail that runs through it called the Cardinal Greenway that I plan on riding a few miles on before turning around and heading home.

My iPod says it’ll take 10 hours to walk there and I’m hoping to get the whole trip in under 4.5 hours. I think it’s do-able so we’ll see. (that’s roughly a 14-15 mph pace)

I will change up a couple roads in the middle of my route so I’m not on the bigger, busier roads. I’m stoked!

Had the most amazing wipe out on his bike ride today.

So I was cruisin along listening to my ipod, when all of a sudden a whild corner appeared! I was gonna, you know, sipmly turn it like a boss, but my bike had different plans.

I don’t exactly know if it was because I took my hand of the bar, got my shoelace stuck in the spoke, disconnected the chain, ran over something, or what, but my bike just fell out from under me.

So I was all-of-a-sudden flying through the air, thinking OH SHIT IM NOT WEARING A HELMET

So i tucked my head, and landed on my shoulder, with a little support from my hand, then I rolled forward.

I did two or three dramatic flips.

Landed sitting upright. Sat there for a second. Then shouted from excitement.

So what do I do?

1) Continue biking

2) Return home an hour later

3) make the following descritptive gif

4) post this blog

5) finally take an advil/put on a bandaid.

So here’s visually what happened:

And, impressively, these are the ONLY battle scars:

Ripped shoelace

And I can’t move my left pinky, but… ya.
