Maria Shriver Files For Divorce From Arnold Schwarzenegger

I never thought Arnold Schwaezenegger will go through a divorce patch in his life but anything can happen. His wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver has filed for divorce and it is a confirmed news.

Her lawyer, Laura Wasser who is known for handling celebrity divorces over the years said that the two had irreconcilable differences after Maria found out that Arnold had fathered a child with a former housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

The couple do not have a prenuptial agreement and Maria could be entitled to half of Arnold's earnings, which could well be hundreds of millions of dollars.

The couple have four kids. Two daughters and two sons. Their sons are still under the age of 18 and the two will have their shared custody.

They want an amicable divorce. Maria became suspicious when the boy, Joseph, now 13 years old began to look like Arnold. She confronted the maid and it was revealed that he was indeed, Arnold's son.

They will consider their children's future before the final break up but so far they seem to be focusing on ending things quietly.

Happy Father’s Day everyone! :D

Actually I just feel like writing something about my father today as I didn’t write anything on his anniversary.

I just can’t believe how 19 years have passed without Papa. When I was a kid, I used to throw away his things in anger & I kind of miss it even today :P I guess he was too good a human, so he’s dead. And things would surely have been different for both Z & I had he been alive. One thing I know for sure – he was the only person who could get me out of deep shit. I don’t count on any other being.

So if you’re dad is alive, have dinner with him or do something special for him. Just in case, he’s something evil, cause parents can be evil, I’m sure you know how to deal with your headache.

I started talking to Papa when I was just 3 days old & by the time I was 2 year old, my parents knew I had huge crushes on Nadeem, Dharmendra & Gregory Peck. But like most people who have lost their dads & moms, I don’t secretly talk to Papa when I’m happy or sad. I can’t feel his presence either. And I do find it highly dramatic! I’m the kind of person who can believe almost anything but I just don’t believe in this crap. I don’t know why people talk shit. We do get upset; it’s natural but we don’t have to exaggerate it to this extent.

My best friend once suggested to me that I ought to write a book on my life. I don’t think I can do that but I came up with the title immediately which was ‘Penniless orphans.’ In fact it would have been the story of the kind penniless orphans who know why caged birds sing. I know it doesn’t go with my image or with my father’s name but it’s not an exaggeration. And it has just occurred to me that I have never written anything about orphans. I also think I won’t ever write anything on them for obvious reason.

Anyhow I think Z & I were totally blessed to have a father like him even for a short while. Sometimes I wish I had been as colourful as my dad :P He was so full of life.

Bryan Adams To Become A Dad For The First Time

Bryan Adams, who is one of the most popular singers of all time is going to become a father for the first time ever at the age of 51.

Bryan who had an affair with Diana in 1996 after she got divorced is going to have the baby with his personal assistant, Alicia Grimaidi. Alicia is in her thirties and is the daughter of a surgeon. She helped Bryan in establishing his Bryan Adams Foundation and is one of the four trustees of the charity.

Bryan never discusses his love life with the media. Alicia didn't give any comments too about her baby who will be delivered in May. Close sources say that many of their friends still don't know if they are a couple but they are living together in Bryan's house, which is a good enough proof.

Psycho kills daughter & throws acid on wife

Every day strange things happen in Karachi. A very depressed man killed his daughter & injured his wife. He had a fight with his wife & he was about to attack her with a knife, when the daughter intervened. Naturally she got deep wounds & she died on the spot. Later on, he tried to burn the body of his daughter; again the wife tried to stop him & he threw acid on her.

The man is arrested but he’s a regarded a psycho. He used to work in US & is also a green card holder. He came to Pakistan just to attend the weddings of his 2 daughters. One of them has been accidentally killed by him. He said he wanted to return, but his in-laws have hidden his passport & that has been driving him mad. He has also changed his statements a couple of time.

Baby Girl Smashed On The Floor By Daddy

I read about another incident that shows how little is the value of life, how we don't respect girls and how people lose all their sense in their rage.

A man from Okara used to have lots of disputes with his wife on a regular basis about domestic issues. On Sunday night, he left his house again after a bad fight with his wife. He returned back later with three of his relatives and they all started beating his wife with all their might.

But the man was perhaps too enraged. He took his newly born baby girl from his wife and smashed her on the floor with force. Of course, there is no miracle happening here and this is all a reality, so yes the baby died on the spot.

A case is registered against the man. But who cares. This is so outrageously sickening and shows how anger, lack of patience and education can play so much with our psychology and how we behave in our life. It shows how we behave in circumstances. I think people in our society are mentally sick when they do such things. Even an ignorant man or woman is quite aware of the fact that a  new born if thrown on the ground would die. I mean forgod's sake their neck alone is so sensitive and smashing a baby on the floor is hideously sick and sad. Even animals are not treated like this. And we still hope that women and girls should be treated with respect.

Just A Few Stones and Pebbles

Last night I read about this news about a man from Pakistan who has been looking for his missing sons from 2009. This man, Fazlur Rehman is from Haripur district and he has filed a petition in the court asking authorities to release two of his sons. He does not even know where they are and if they are alive or not.

He said that two of his sons were picked by officials when their house was raided in November 2009. The officials also asked him to bring his third son to  the station. Apparently, by the next day the third son was also picked up by unknown men and one of his sons who were previously arrested returned home.

Since then, the father has been asking the authorities to return his sons. He was allowed to meet them once when he was blindfolded and taken to an undisclosed location because he asked various parties to help him. But never heard of them or their whereabouts from anyone.

According to the father, there is no criminal case registered against his sons and so their detention is illegal. It can't be really said why his sons were targeted and if they were involved in some big plan. The updates on the net or most publications have just copy pasted the father's petition. I couldn't find any information on what did the sons actually do or are they some sort of terrorists.

It is not this particular case, but the sad part is people go on missing as if they are some stones and pebbles without an identity and presence. Boys, girls and children -they all go through the same shit depending on their circumstances and luck. I don't think anything will be done in this regard as well. We have now accepted the hopelessness of our society. I wonder how many other places like our country exist world wide where we talk so much about humanity and good things and in reality everything is so fucked up really.

Who Was Neda : The Assassination Victim

On June 20th 2009, Neda was standing on the corner of the street next to her father, watching the protestors. A member of Basij, hiding on a rooftop of a home, took a clear shot at her heart. The impact of the shot was so great that even with 5 men pushing on her chest, trying to stop the bleeding, she died in less than 30 seconds. Right in front of her father who was pleading those around him to save his daughter and keep her with him.
This is not a sad fictional story, this happened yesterday in Tehran, Iran. All of the major news web sites have refused to put the video showing this innocent girl’s death on their site, regardless of our many attempt. In case most of you don’t know yet, many of the signals sent to these websites are jammed from Iran, and during certain hours of the day the information or pictures on these websites have nothing to do with what is actually happening in Iran or what extent they are happening. BBC, CNN, FOX, yahoo!, aol!, any other site that you check out for news, well they always manage to get updated by the end of the day.
The movement in Iran has moved pass the election fraud. It is now, about having the right to free speech and having freedom or not. People are fighting dictatorship in Iran and the price they are paying for freedom is their blood.
Don’t let Neda’s blood be shed in vain. Watch the video. It is heart trenching, painful and down right in humane. And then think about how her father felt, when he saw his little girl, an innocent by stander, dying in front of him. Today is father’s day. pay your respect to him by copying this note and tagging your friends, people need to know.
Pass it forward.Don’t be scared. Stand up for once and make a change.
here is the link to to video of her death.
Translation:neda, is shot.her father, the man id blue stiped shirt, hold her and tells her: "Neda, Neda, sweetheart, look at me"from behind another man orders the father to keep pressing on her chest.then she coughs blood and father screams "oh god, oh god"-"Neda don't be scared, don't be scared" she coughs more blood. dad screams" please stay, please stay"another man in the background pleads: " please help her, please help her"and well she is dead. in less than 30 second.

Words

“Home was a place you lived in, love was a thing you didn’t fool yourself about…happiness was a term of hypocrisy used to bluff other people, a father was an individual who enjoyed his own existence, a husband was a man you lived with & kept going in spirits. As for sex, the last of the great words, it was just cocktail term for an excitement that bucked you up for a while, then left you more raggy than ever. Frayed! It was as if the very material you were made of cheap stuff, & was fraying out to nothing.”
