Spinning

Since Monday was a holiday, I didn’t take my usual Monday spin. I went yesterday instead.

I have mentioned before how spin is so dependent on the teacher. Yesterday was no exception.

This teacher started out with some baby hills to get your heart rate up. Then jumps which I haven’t done in a while which was good. Lastly it was like a 15 minute uphill climb with sprints. He kept saying turn the dial to the right. By the end of it, I could barely get my legs to push the pedals around since I had so much tension - it was like trying to ride through west cement that was a foot deep.

Even though overall I thought class was sort of boring, I felt like I had a fantastic strength workout - more so than cardio. It was like a legs day.

Glad I went - but it can’t hold a candle to my Monday class!!!
