Abortion is safer than having a baby, doctors say

Alright. I just read that pregnant women should be informed that having an abortion is safer than having the baby. In fact the guidance is drawn up by 18 senior gynecologists, nurses and abortion providers.

"Women should be advised that abortion is generally safer than continuing a pregnancy to term."

There won’t be any psychological harm, if the woman decides to terminate her baby. Although rates of psychiatric illness and self-harm in women are higher among those who had an abortion.

Prof Patricia Casey said: “The message this sends out is very worrying. There are more than 30 studies showing an association between psychological trauma and abortion.”

Does this mean people should stop thinking about having babies? I think there are cases in which women are gang-raped & in such cases, they should be allowed to have an abortion & that too if they are willing to have one. No one needs to impose their god-damn opinion on others. I once read about this girl who was being raped by her father on a daily basis & when she got pregnant, she wanted to have the baby, but her parents didn’t allow her. All along her mother kept mum, but she couldn’t stand the idea of her daughter giving birth to that baby.

Prof Patricia Casey is saying there is an association between psychological trauma and abortion; at the same time, there is no evidence in this new study that termination itself is likely to trigger psychological problems. Who should we believe? We are not doctors, medical students & nurses. But if abortion is safer, then what does it imply? People will have babies anyway. In fact those who are not interested too have them, cause they are reckless bastards.They don't care.

Anyhow, the draft guidance from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is for all doctors, nurses and counselors advising women contemplating terminations.

There are times when the baby may have OI or other incurable diseases that may cause a lot of problem in the long run. Abortion is suggested in those cases. I’d like to share one of the passages…this woman had an abortion, but she didn’t feel great about it later on:

“Here’s what no one tells you…When you deliver a fetus, you get a death certificate, but not a birth certificate. And afterward, your milk comes in, & there’s nothing you can do to stop it. You can’t win. Either you have the baby & wear your pain on the outside, or you don’t have the baby, & you keep that ache in you forever. I know I didn’t do the wrong thing. But I don’t feel like I did the right thing, either…They gave me a choice & even now I wish they hadn’t.”

I’m not trying to make this write-up dramatic. Different people will look at the same situation in different ways.

Couple Aborted Twin Boys in Hopes for a Baby Girl

An Australian couple aborted their twin boys in hopes that they could have a baby girl in the future. The couple went through IVF treatments to conceive after they lost a baby girl shortly after her birth. They already have three healthy boys from natural conception, but are desperate to conceive a girl

The couple had their boys aborted because they “could not continue to have an unlimited number of children.” They are petitioning the Victoria Civil and Administrative Tribunal to allow them to perform sex selection through another round of IVF treatments. In Australia, the Victoria’s Assisted Reproductive Treatment Act of 2008 does not allow sex selection unless it will reduce the chance of the transmitting a genetic condition from parent to child.

As usual people have problem with this as well. They are saying this couple is trying to control God’s work (or biology’s depending on what you believe). The horrible part of this story is not that they would like to control what sex of baby they have, but what means they are willing to go to be sure it happens. Nobody should be permitted to go through IVF treatments and then abort the successful pregnancy because they don’t want another boy. How many times will they be permitted to harm innocent human beings? And if they get a girl, how can they be sure that baby will live up to the expectations they have for her? It’s just mortifying to think this couple may get away with murder, and then be disappointed in the results when they finally do get the girl they’ve wanted for so long.

Science has become a real source of headache lately. I just couldn’t understand as to what is wrong with choosing the gender of the baby. Although what the couple is doing sounds awful. Aborting babies is not the right option. But what about all those people who are killing illegitimate babies on a daily basis; in fact, they murder the infants after they are born. They throw them in garbage sites where strays attack them. They even pour acid on these infants. They also kill the infants with bare hands. Why aren’t people fighting for those babies? People actually have no time for such babies. They are more worried about who is aborted & who is yet to conceive. Besides that they have all the time in the world to judge this couple.

Man gets 15-year sentence for incest

Although people in our part of the world prefer to stay in a state of denial but such stories do come up on the surface sometimes. Sher Zaman sexually assaulted his daughter when she was 16 year old (in 2002) & not just that he even threatened her of die consequences if anyone gets to know about that incident. Later on the girl got pregnant & gave birth to a child who was also killed by Sher Zaman & thrown into the gutter of the house.

Sher Zaman was found guilty of rape but he had been acquitted of murder due to lack of evidence. His wife Shahida is the one who filed the case against him…at least this woman had the courage to stand up against her husband. We have all kinds of fathers & mothers in the world, so I won’t say what kind of father is Sher Zaman!

Incest is a taboo subject & yet it happens every where. While I was doing my research on it, I came across some very disturbing stories & in some cases, people really don’t have a problem with it at all. They don’t mind having a relationship with a brother or father.

In one of the cases, a girl had been sexually abused by her father for years & naturally when she got pregnant, she wanted to have the baby, but both the parents forced her to have an abortion. I read a note by that girl on the net & it makes you wonder how can parents be so cruel & that was the 1^st time someone actually convinced me that abortion is not the only answer. Someone could have adopted that baby. There are many childless people. Well I still think that abortion ought to be legalized though but if you’re willing to have that baby, then it’s a different story.

It’s indeed a very depressing topic. A Malaysian friend of mine also did an extensive research on it. You’re not shocked out of your wits, you start questioning the moral values of people. How can you stay mum when someone is raped in your house? Isn’t that a sin? Aren’t we supposed to take a stand & protect the one who is weak?

Infants are being killed almost on a daily basis. No one bothers to protest or even care about those babies. All of it points out that we are indeed a very degraded race.

Real life incidents are a lot different than what we read in fiction. When we are not involved, of course it’s a lot easier to reach a conclusion or to comprehend a thing no one wants us to understand or even think about. But I would say that it was thousand times easier for me also to form an opinion about Lolita than what I have read about real people & real incidents.

Chinese Woman Forced To Have Abortion At Eight Months

This is so insane, I just read on twitter that a pregnant woman in China was forcibly taken from her home by a dozen people. She was kept in detention for three days by family planning officials. She was then taken to a hospital and forcibly given a drug that killed her baby. All this was done because the couple already had a daughter and China is very rigid on its one child policy.

People who refuse to abide by the law lose their jobs, property and money because China believes in controlling its population growth and this has been practiced for the last 30 years. As robotic as it sounds, it is obviously quite in human. 

Recently people, very few have them started speaking their mind through the virtual media and social campaigners. 

Like I say time and again, inhumanity is so common. We have entire nations and countries working to promote it. It is just an insane world.
