They are no doubt the coolest opener I’ve ever seen. The put on a great show and tell great stories. BTW, this is a live performance, It will blow your mind.

So here’s that band that opened for Noah and the Whale. Only, it seems like this album is really just him. This is a lovely song, but it was even lovelier last night with all the INCREDIBLE harmonizing they had going on. Really beautiful.

Garden inspired by the lovely ones in Versailles, France. This garden is found in the Bahamas, on Paradise Island.

Thanks to my good friend hestermess, I am listening to a ‘new-to-me’ band called Bahamas, although technically, it’s not a band. Bahamas is a guy named Afie Jurvanen from Toronto. He’s mellow, a little jazzy, a little bluesy, and really good. Check him out, eh?

Went to see Noah and the Whale last night with my good friend, Miranda.

We were walking around Little Five Points and saw them in a vintage store.

Let’s just say my influence to make Miranda go into the store made her day, haha.

   It was a very good show. The boys played magnificently and the opener band Bahamas was also very good.

      Check them out if you don’t know them!

Back in Miami!! Had a great time with my peeps in the bahamas. Can’t wait for our next trip. Must start planning now. :D

Outside the girls home. The stucco is a mixture of the pinkish shell sand from the local beach and white cement. No paint is used which gives a beautiful textured finish to the outside walls. The guys installing the finish where very proud of the local materials, and rightfully so.

Eleuthera, Bahamas Zion Childrens Home construction Site. This weekend the builders, owners, and I looked at exterior finishes, plumbing, interior finishes, doors windows, cross ventilation, and split mechanical units. The craftsman ship by these guys is superb.

I met Gordon (electrical contractor) the for the first time. He was a very fun and interesting person. HE commtment to excellence in construction also impressed me alot.

I love how the moon is the same wherever you are~

got home from a cruise to the Bahamas with some girlys I’ve known since pre-school!

I knew it was gonna be fun, but not that fun!

The cruise consisted of smuggling alcohol in shampoo bottles, tanning, relaxing, drinking Miami Vices, roaming the cruise, spiking everything, fancy/classy dinners, wine with mama, Coco Cay, water slides, aquatic park/playground and acting like five year olds, tanning, Coco Loco’s, snorkeling, Schroomer’s Bar, watching ridiculously wasted adults dance, crashing the teen club, dancing to Sweet Caroline, Sweet Home Alabama, and many more like noones business at the bar, Nassau, jetskiing, tanning, the straw market + buying treats, Senior Frog’s (GO!), the yard stick Bahama Mama, tequila shots, spanish dancing, balloon hats, napping on the pool deck, attempting to recover from day drinking before night drinking, the heat game :((, randomly meeting people, getting lost, vanilla vodka, more Bahama Mama’s, adventures with my girls, getting lost, crashing the club Spectrum, gallavanting in heels, a guy, midnight pizza, 5am nights, no sleep, crazy pictures, crazy memories, not wanting to leave.

Overall, an AMAZING kick-off for summmer :)

Now to get ready for my family roadtrip…
