Teacher Resigns Because Of Her Porn Star Past

A science teacher at St. Louis recently resigned from her position because students found out about her past porn star life. Tera Myers decided to resign as a school teacher after a student confronted her about her past when she worked as an actress in X-rated films. She is on an administrative leave and will be paid for the rest of the school year but she can not teach classes till next year.

Tera Myers is 38 years old who taught at St. Louis High School. She did act in pornographic videos in the 1990s under the name of Rikki Andersin.

The spokesman for the school district said that she resigned out of respect for her privacy and that of her family. He also said that they are surprised but feel for her and her family. The school believes that she has tried to move on with her life but even if it happened 15 years ago, the videos are still there.

Tera Myers' teaching career was questioned even before when her X-rated movies became the talk in 2006. She taught at Reidland High School then under the name of Tericka Dye. At that time, Myers fought to keep her job and her story became national news. She admitted while talking to Dr. Phil that acting as a porn star was the worst decision of her life and she did that when was desperate, bipolar and a homeless mother of two.

She said on the show, "I did live with the fear that somehow, someday, it would catch up with me. I just didn't know that it would ruin me."

Five years ago, Myers defended herself in the press also. She said that she didn't do anything criminal but she was stupid like everybody else. She admitted that she ended up hurting herself but she shouldn't be treated like a criminal. She also defended her stance as a teacher that students could relate to her more because she is not holier than thou like all the other teachers. She said she could tell students how people can overcome their mistakes and can show herself as a life example of how people move on in life.

Despite her pleas, Myers wasn't able to hold onto her job in Kentucky. But she found a position teaching science at the St. Louis high school, where she worked for the past four years and coached the girls volleyball team -- until Friday. A school district spokesman told the press that Myers' history as a porn star didn't come up during background or reference checks because she broke no laws by acting in adult films.

I think it is so unfair for the woman. She has moved on. She is trying to move on and do things differently but every time her past is ruining things for her. People do make mistakes but that should not ruin her present. If she is an ethical teacher she should be allowed to continue teaching. But people are so stuck up about porn movies and stuff. Even people who appear in pornographic films are humans and many of them end up in such situations because of compromising and difficult circumstances like Tera Myers.

Macaulay told E!, "As I do with many fans, I briefly met and took a photo with Irene Lopez at her request." He  also said further, "I have had no contact with this woman in any capacity, social or otherwise before or since that picture was taken. Any reports to the contrary are false."

Thus, perhaps he is enjoying his life being a single guy again but he is not really hanging out with a porn star it seems so we got to believe whatever the lady Irene said was a fictional story she told the world to get some attention.
