Al Fayed Defends Michael Jackson's Statue

Fulham chairman Mohammed Al Fayed who is also the owner of an English Premier League football club has revealed the statue of Michael Jackson outside the club's Craven Cottage.

Most of the football fans find Michael Jackson's statue to be silly and irrelevant. The are questioning its relevance. Those who have supported the club for so long find it inappropriate and ridiculous.

Al Fayed, invited Michael Jackson to the club for a game in 1999. However, he remained defiant and said the fans could go to hell if they can't appreciate the statue. He does not understand what to they find so bizarre in Michael Jackson's statue. He said the football fans don't have to believe in the things he believes. They can go to hell, go to Chelsea or go anywhere else.

Al Fayed, is proud to put a statue of his friend Michael Jackson even if some club fans don't like it and find it a useless addition to the club. This is not the first time, he is unveiling statues of loved ones. In 2005, Al Fayed, unveiled bronze statues of Lady Diana and his son Dodi Al Fayed in Harrods store titled 'Innocent Victims'.

The club members and fans are angry that he never consulted them for putting up a statue and they would have opposed it. However, Al Fayed is happy and doesn't care about the fans. He wants to cherish his friends and memories in a way he likes most.

Well, I certainly don't find anything wrong in having a statue of a legendary singer at the club. Relevance being the main question...I think the entire world knows that Al Fayed and Jackson were best friends so what is so wrong if he wants to remember his friend, a famous singer after his death by putting up a statue? People seem so bitter about everything.

Sonakshi’s twitpic angered her Pakistani fans

It’s just occurred to me that Sonakshi jee is not just fat, but she’s like any dysfunctional person who goes mad after watching cricket. And she takes victory even more badly than how our nation has taken defeat.

Anyhow, this twitpic showed Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi getting whacked on his butt by an Indian batsman Shewag, and Sonakshi added the caption ‘De ghumaaaaake! Hehehehahahaha.’

I like the way she laughs :P hehehehahaha It’s really hilarious, so to speak.

Naturally her Pakistani fans couldn’t stand this image. She got zillions of hate replies from her fans who started un-following her. They do find this image quite insulting. Moreover, there was no need to publish an unethical picture on her twitter. Maybe it’s her sense of humor. I’m shocked that her Pakistani fans were not aware of it.

One message read: “u shouldnt be doing dis, ur father never did dis kind of thing, not even sallu bhai, learn something from them.” Another message said: “Sonakshi just because of this cheap act of yours . . . I am unfollowing you.” Some even said that Sonakshi doesn’t have any class. Good to know that they know it now.

“You should be a goodwill ambassador between your country and other countries, itna har waqt salman khan salman khan karti rehti ho..usse hi kuch seekhlo tum” reads another reply. But Indian fans liked her zeal and guts and praised her for ‘Dabangg’ act.

However, Sonakshi jee realized that she has hurt the sentiments of her fans from Pakistan, and asked them to take the tweeted image in good spirit: “Pak fans very upset. jung ke maidan mein ladne se toh accha hi hai khel ke maidan mein ladein! I am all for love thy neighbour. Be a sport yaar.”

But her last status update was not that positive either:” We have won. Bolti bandh”

This is what happens to people after winning the match. I don’t see any difference between her attitude & that of some Pakistanis. Even after upsetting her fans, she couldn’t help gloating about her victory. And what was the need of uploading that pic anyway? They had won the match. What was the bloody, fucking point?

An artist doesn’t have any boundary & Sonakshi jee has just proved otherwise.

Lady Gaga & her biggest fan

Lady Gaga was reduced to tears by one of her biggest fans, Maria Aragon on 3rd March at her Toronto concert.

This is one cute thing about Lady Gaga. She really loves her fans & it’s all genuine. She might be eccentric but she definitely has a good heart. You can see that she really adores her followers & she rightly calls them ‘Little Monsters.’ It's genuine affection.

Maria is a 10 year old who made international headlines last month when her tribute to Lady Gaga, a video of her sitting at her keyboard playing Born This Way, received eight million hits in just five days. To date, it has been viewed over 17.6 million times.

Both Lady Gaga & Maria performed a version of Born This Way at the Air Canada Canter.

‘If I could just touch one person, that's enough,' Lady Gaga said after Maria had left the stage. 'She made me all nervous because she's such a superstar.'

Some people as usual had issues with the dress sense of Lady Gaga. They didn't want her to meet a 10 year old all naked, but I guess her fans must be used to it by now. And what's the big deal about it anyway?

Madonna's Hard Candy Gym Launched in Mexico

Well Madonna is one woman who actually does whatever she wants to without giving a damn about the world. And the best thing is she never let all the fame and controversies get to her. She has gracefully taken her fame. Right now she is opening world class gym in Mexico city. It is said she believes in staying fit throughout her life and does not miss any day where she does not work out.

Hundreds of fans turned out to see singer and fitness fanatic Madonna open her first gym in Mexico City. The 52-year-old taught a short dance lesson to a handful of Hard Candy members at the event. The name is taken from her eleventh studio album, which topped the charts around the world in 2008.The star, who is hoping to open a chain of gyms, said she chose to Mexico City for the first one because she likes the energy of the people.

"Our plan is to use Mexico as a place to fine-tune our brand and then expand it to other countries," added the star.
Membership costs 2,000 pesos a month (£103) a month with a one-time joining fee of 10,400 pesos (£534), which includes the first two months of membership. It is said, Madonna took special interest in the decor, layout and designing of the gym itself. Now this is some chic gym I feel.

What Did The Donkeys Do?

This picture here reminds me of how my ex-best friend and her mother discussed and laughed at a donkey flying in the air many years ago. I didn't like it then. I don't find it amusing today either.

It is not such a big surprise that some of the Pakistanis stopped following cricket like mad after the disgraceful 1999 World Cup final where the Pakistani team miserably lost the final to Australia. I have since then, followed it off an on but not with much enthusiasm.

The recent news where Pakistani players are shown in a video with some bookie has given the media just another story to highlight for a few days. Pakistani players have been talented. And they have been corrupt too. I don't even care whatever will happen of this case. Just like all stories this too will just die.

But what I do want to write is that our cricket fans got angry. They put names of players on donkeys and then started beating them with shoes and sticks to take out their anger. What did the donkeys do? They have nothing to do with this entire case. It just shows how far away we have drifted from decency and reason.

In a country where human life is as good as shit, the animals are only going to suffer at large! I stand with the animals...therefore, I don't see a line behind me :P

My Tutor & The Fan

Long, long ago we used to have a tutor. I was in the 3rd or 4th grade I guess. I was pretty good academically. At that point I didn't really need a tutor. But because Ammi people had got one, I used to do my homework and prepare for tests with him only.

That man has left behind some very funny memories. The first one, which Nadzy would obviously be able to share in great detail. On the first day he came, Nadzy studied some Urdu syllabus. And then in 2 days or so, the man probably gave her a hint by writing some romantic piece of Urdu poetry in her book :P heheheheh and she blasted completely. She didn't study again...with the tutor of course.

We were however stuck. And the observation skills developed much before that perhaps and so today I am going to dedicate a few words to him. The tutor was funny. He acted in a weird way whenever somebody older passed by. He started asking stupid questions or talked silly. The best thing he said when my eldest sister walked one day in the corridor "Does this fan move clockwise or anti-clockwise?"

Then, every single time somebody passed by he said these typical lines "Jee yeh bhi mainay aap ko parha dia hai! Yeh bhi hum parh chukay hain" He used to act all efficient then.

The funniest was when my sister's friend came upstairs and she was standing at the door and he said the same lines...creating some efficient impression in front of her. I wonder if she friggin gave a damn.

I don't know when did he really stop coming but one of the good things he left for us to cherish was the Beauty Paaaarlooorrr. He said it in a classic way. Oh yeah, he even got married while he used to give us tutions. And he even saw his shadi ki movie at our place all excited.

I didn't write to make fun of him. But I just remember his style vividly. I hope he is doing well though :)

But every time I look at any fan I hear his voice "clockwise or anti-clockwise" :P

Michael Jackson

I still can’t believe that Michael Jackson is dead. He might not be on the screen for some time but almost everyone in the world knows this man. He was an asset & his death is a great loss for music lovers.

I think he suffered a lot in his life. People used to sue him for one thing or the other. It’s just that people seem to make a person’s life as miserable as possible & even there are many who aren’t satisfied after a person’s death…some think that he had money & everything, so why do we feel saddened about his death? The thing is…Everyone doesn’t have to think alike. His fans will always miss him. He had that sort of voice that drove people mad.

I really liked him in that ad of Pepsi which came in the 90s. He looked really cool in it. Although there are still people who can’t help calling him a child molester…then there was an uproar about the dangling of his baby on the balcony. People never spared him. Even today some people can’t help being bitchy. Some are saying that he was born black & he died white. But then what else can we expect of ordinary people? They don’t even spare humans even after their death. Nevertheless, Michael Jackson has some ardent fans who would never forget him.
