Belgium Protesters Stripped Down

This is an interesting news guys ... people in Belgium stripped down to their underwear to conduct a mockery protest at Ghent because their country has been without a government for a record breaking 249 days now. 

Prime Minister Yves Leterme resigned 249 days ago and even in the last eight months, the very divided political parties of Belgium have failed to form a coalition government. Thus, mockery celebrations were carried out in which exactly 249 people decided to strip down in Ghent and stood up without their pants making fun of their political parties. In other Belgium cities, people celebrated by having free chips (which is Belgium's national dish) and free Belgium beer. The mocking celebrations were organized through text messages, facebook and twitter updates.

The way things are going, it is believed that Belgium will take away the record of taking the longest time to form a government, which is currently held by Iraq.

The situation is so bad that a female politician - Marleen Temmerman suggested that wives of all the MP's should ban sex till their men are able to form a government. She mocked and passed this statement "Spouses should keep their legs crossed to bring an end to the deadlock."

Hostel - An Eye Opener

The new Indian film Hostel will be a shocking eye-opener for the audience to realize that ragging in colleges and schools across India has become an extremely evil practice. It is about time that people realize that ragging should be taken seriously because due to ragging students are losing their lives and committing suicides.

Few Indians are aware of the number of suicides that occur in Indian Hostels as a result of the phenomenon termed as 'Ragging'. This sadistic practice has become a ritual wherein students are beaten up, stripped, paraded naked, starved, tortured, molested and even raped by their seniors. Since victims of ragging find it humiliating to report sexual abuse to their parents or others, most ragging-related crimes go unreported. Sadly, these very students - who suffer silently at the hands of their seniors - in turn, vent their frustrations by ragging their juniors in the following years.

Of course, ragging is a serious issue. I am shocked that even after so many years nothing serious is done about this social issue.
