OPI’s Nice Stems collection for the summertime…. Gorgeous! Who doesn’t love fun, fruity shades of pink and fuschia?
From Left to Right: - Play the Peonies - A very soft pink, almost white. Would look great as a french base! - Come to Poppy - A coral/pink shade that should coordinate with most summer maxi dresses - Be a Dahlia, Won’t You? - A bright fuschia color, made for making you stand out! - I Lily Love You - My personal favorite, but you guys know how I love me some glitter nails. I dreaming of this on my hands and toes!
How would you wear these cute shades? Post below to inspire us all!
“Nice” is the bare minimum standard that we as individuals in an integrated society should maintain every day of our lives. It’s nice to notice “nice” in the world…but what a sad commentary it is that simple acts of common decency seem so rare to people that they feel compelled to offer compliments, gratitude and even awards for them.
I am nice (yet fallible with all the frustrations and inconsistencies that go with being human)—and I appreciate when my niceness it is recognized by others. However, please do not apply heroism to what is the very least I should be.
I use drink a lot of this soup in Jamaica. I found it in the supermarket the other day and had to get it.
Cheers!

Over the weekend we were lucky enough to catch up with upcoming Jamaican dancehall artist Terro 3000. Having previously featured on UK dancehall/reggae blogs Shimmy Shimmy and Why Delila, Terro spoke to us about his early days, the breakthrough singles and what he’s got planned for the near future.
What age did you start clashing?
I started clashing at a very young age, about 6 or 7 when i started. In Jamaica clashing is where most people start their musical journey. I started by singing over my favourite DJs songs. Back then it was more about who could remember the most songs! After doing that for a while I started to develop my writing (I still remember the first song I ever wrote!). Then I moved to high school and that’s where the birth of Terro took place. Clashes were done every lunch time. Classes were barred off and filled with students beating the desks to make riddims.
Who were your influences at a young age?
There are so many: Shabba, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Spragga Benz, Terror Fabulous, Daddy Screw, Buju, General Degree, Tiger. There’s too much to list. When I was young I really didn’t have a favourite artist, I just loved a lot of music and all those artists play a part in what I am today.
i’m assuming that this is ‘bruk up’ today. foriegn accent strong, enh?

““The reason that men can rape children and walk around, the reason that they (children) can go missing and they gang-rape them and abuse them, is because there is a kind of unwritten law in society [Jamaica] that it doesn’t matter, nothing will happen to you the (offender), most of our laws aren’t enforced anyway. There is a sense in this society that we don’t value children,” said Blaine.”Elephant Man to debut in Zimbabwe - June 24:
